Aran Island Ferries
Many Ireland’s largest domestic ferry company, sailing year-round to all three islands. The business is owned and operated by the O’Brien family, who began trading turf to the Aran Islands in the 1800’s on the family’s Galway Hooker. Departing from Galway city in 2020, Aran Island Ferries will launch a new ferry with a capacity of 400 which can be available for private hire.
Many of our sailings have a connecting shuttle bus that departs from Queens St in the City Centre. Sailings that are marked with XB in the booking system do not have a connecting shuttle bus and you must make your own transport arrangements to and from these sailings.
