Day 1
Galway City
Morning
Arrive by private transfer (organised by one of our Irish PCO/DMC partners) into Galway, Ireland’s cultural centre in the west of Ireland. On arrival the group will meet friendly locals while getting a taste for Irish food culture, sampling fresh produce on a delectable food trail through Ireland’s most colourful city (Galway Food Tours).
Afternoon
With taste buds satisfied, the group will have the chance to soak up the hustle and bustle of Shop Street in the middle of the city centre — numerous quaint shops, traditional pubs (The KIng’s Head or An Púcán), theatres, and musical buskers will provide a sense of the rich tapestry of the life Galway offers.
Evening
Following this authentically Irish day, the group will retire to a four-star hotel in Galway’s city centre to enjoy céad míle fáilte (one hundred thousand welcomes) followed by a private dinner together. Browse Galway's impressive accommodation sector by visiting the ‘Members’ section.
Day 2
Connemara & Galway City
Morning & Afternoon
As the group travels towards the scenic landscape, they will need to answer one question - How adventurous do you feel? Connemara offers a host of high-impact activities across crystal seas and wild roaming lands (Delphi Lodge & Adventure Centre). If a change of pace is your answer, then experience the freshest seafood (Mungo Murphy Seaweed), or practice rooted traditions where culture meets nature (Cnoc Suain). You can choose to journey through 1,000-acre estate linked with tragedy, romance, and spirituality (Kylemore Abbey), or tour the pubs with local stories, dancers, and trad musicians (Connemara Pub Tours). The choice is yours.
Evening
Guests will take part in a magical dining experience that evening on board the fabulous Corrib Princess luxury boat, where a delicious dinner will be served as they take in the idyllic Corrib views. The Corrib Princess also serves Irish Coffee as well as a large selection of wines and local craft beers as guests sail along the peaceful river, home to courting swans, hunting herons, and jumping salmon.
Day 3
Aran Island & Galway City
Morning
The group’s uniquely Irish experience continues with an adventure on the breath-taking Aran Islands off the coast of Galway. Travelling by boat or aeroplane, guests will take in picturesque views of the rugged coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way (Dun Aonghasa), before arriving on the island to explore Celtic churches and ancient sites.
Afternoon
On arrival back in Galway, the group will enjoy a tipple at the the Micil Poitín Distillery. A sixth Generation Poitín Distiller, Pádraic Ó Grillais will regale guests with wonderful stories as they sample sweet Poitín and toast to good health.
Evening
For their final evening in Ireland, the group can share highlights from this once-in-a-lifetime trip while dining at one of Galway’s finest Michelin-starred restaurants — just a sample of one of the many unique experiences that await MICE groups in Ireland.
